Information Collection
Based on the nature of its work, Kith Collective may collect personal information in the course of providing client services. Such personal information may include names, mailing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, subject areas of interest, demographic information, and experiences living with and seeking and receiving care for particular diseases or medical conditions. This information may be collected via surveys, interviews, focus groups, roundtable sessions, etc. It is collected with the express permission of clients and participants for specific projects.
Use of Information
Kith Collective uses personal information provided by clients to manage client relationships and for the purposes described in client agreements. Kith Collective uses personal information provided by participants in a given project solely to meet the stated objectives of that project. Participants in Kith Collective projects will receive an explanation of how their personal information will be used before providing it, and they may be asked to review and sign an informed consent agreement with further details about its use.
Any personal information received by Kith Collective and its associated consultants will be held in strict confidence and will not be revealed to or shared with any other persons, firms, or organizations unless otherwise instructed or permitted by our clients and associated parties. Any such ancillary use must be consistent with the consent agreement and other information provided to project participants. Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal and contractual limitations. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
Kith Collective does not share personal information with third parties without the client's or project participant's express permission. Kith Collective will never sell personal information.
Kith Collective may collect and store information using third-party platforms, such as survey platforms. Kith Collective vets these platforms to the best of its ability. Kith Collective hosts and uses third-party video teleconference platforms to facilitate meetings. Video teleconferences may be recorded and stored by third-party platforms. Kith Collective will share privacy policies for any third party platform utilized in the course of a particular project upon request.
Information Retention
Kith Collective retains personal information as necessary for the duration of the purpose outlined in client agreements. Kith Collective may retain information if necessary to comply with legal or professional obligations, enforce our agreements, or resolve disputes.
Information Security
Kith Collective takes reasonable precautions to protect all personal information provided by clients and project participants from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Only authorized Kith Collective personnel are provided access to personal information. Kith Collective personnel are required to treat personal information as confidential.
